This creamy cinnamon cashew cream paired with fresh banana is our healthy version of the classic Bananas Foster ice cream sundae.
Ingredients
1 C. raw cashews
1 T. brown rice syrup
1 T. agave nectar
2 T. coconut oil
1/4 t. cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
1 T. filtered water
6 T. freshly squeezed orange juice
1-2 t. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 banana
Ground nutmeg
Directions
Soak cashews overnight in filtered water, then drain and rinse once you are ready to begin preparing your dessert.
Place all ingredients in blender blend until smooth.
Pour cream into bowl or tupperware and place in refrigerator to chill for at least 2-3 hours. (If you place in freezer, the cream will take on the consistency of an ice cream instead.) Remove when ready to serve, pair with banana and sprinkle with freshly ground nutmeg. Enjoy!
